really liked it

Even though the book is full of confusion and heresy and I found myself disagreeing with most of his (other) thoughts, this was a very fascinating read. It gives a very good context for the turmoil and anger in 17th century Britain and a great understanding for how the Church of England could gain so much support due to the political circumstances.

Hobbes was no doubt a great thinker, and I am thoroughly impressed by the clear and concise development of his thoughts throughout his book.

I think this is and will always be an important read for anyone with an interest in philosophy, politics or history.
