HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
Legislative Assembly of Wisconsin Territory,
Begun and held at Madison, the seat of Government, on Monday the third day of August, A. D. 1840, pursuant to an act of the said Assembly, entitled “ An act to provide for taking the census or enumeration of the inhabitants of this Territory, and to fix the time of holding an extra session of the Legislative Assembly," approved January 11, A. D. 1840.
On which day the following named members of the House of Representatives appeared and took their seats, viz:
From the county of Brown-Messrs. Childs, Conroe, Shackleford and Sholes.
From the county of Milwaukee-Mr. Ray.
From the county of Racine—Messrs. Hoyt, Newman "and Stevens.
From the counties of Rock and Walworth-Messrs. Beardsley and Whiton.
From the counties of Green, Dane, Jefferson and Dodge--Mr. Sutherland.
From the county of Iowa-Messrs. Billings and Jenkins.
