But, I said to you, that you have both feen Me, and do not believe. All that the Father gives. Me shall come to Me: and him that comes to Me I will not caft ont. For, I descended from Heaven, not to do My Own Will, but the will of Him that fent Me.

And this is the Fathers Will who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but raise it up again at the last day. And this is the Will of My Father who fent Me, that Every one who fees the Son and believes on Him may have Everlasting Life; and I thould raise him up again at the last day Resp. Lesson 120. The Jeros therefore trove among themselves, saying, How can thisMan give us His Flesh to eat? Then JESUS faid, Verily, Verily, I fay to you, Except you eat the Fleth of the Son of Man, and drink His Blood, you shall not have Life in you. He that eats My Flesh, and drinks My Blood, has Eternal Life; and I will raise him up at the laft day. For, My Flelh is mcat indeed, and my Blood

is drink indeed. He that eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood, dwells in Me and I in him. As the living Father has fent Me, and I live by the Father ; so, he that eats Me, shall also live by Me. Lesson 121. These things laid He in the Synagogue as He taught in Capernaum. Many,therefore, of His Disciples, hearing it, said, This is a hard saying, who can hear it? But JESUS knowing in Himself that His Disciples murmured at it, said to them,




Does this scandalize you? What if you shall see the Son of Man afcend where He was before? It is the Spirit that quickens; the Flelh profits nothing: the words that I have spoken to you are Spirit and Life. But, there are some of you that believe not: For, JESUS knew from the beginning who they were that believed not ;- and who should betray Him..
