ledge of God! Rom. xi. 33. Unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men. Of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who, of God, is made unto us wisdom.1 Cor. i. 24, 25, 30. We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom,] which God ordained before the world. 1 Cor. ii. 7. To the intent that now unto the principalities, and powers, in heavenly [places,] might be known, by the church, the manifold wisdom of God. Eph. iii. 10. [Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: to whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery. Col. i. 26 According to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. Eph. i. 11. According to the eternal purpose which He purposed. Eph. iii. 11. The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, [so] shall it stand. Is. xiv. 24. The Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel. Isai. xliv. 23. They shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. Is. lx. 21. That they might be called trees of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that HE might be glorified. Is. lxi. 3. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. Peter rose up, and said unto them, men [and] brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
