whom we have redemption through His blood. Col. i. 14. Who gave himself a ransom for all. 1 Tim. ii. 6. By his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption. Heb. ix. 12. Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ. 1 Pet. i. 18. 19. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law. Gal. 3. 13. Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood. ledge of God! Rom. xi. 33. Unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men. Of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who, of God, is made unto us wisdom.1 Cor. i. 24, 25, 30. We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom,] which God ordained before the world. 1 Cor. ii. 7. To the intent that now unto the principalities, and powers, in heavenly [places,] might be known, by the church, the manifold wisdom of God. Eph. iii. 10. In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Col. ii. 3. It is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. Matth. xiii. 11. According to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, but now is made manifest. Rom. xvi. 25. 26. Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit. 1 Cor. ii. 9. 10. How that by revelation He made known unto me the mystery, ...whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ; which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto the holy apostles and prophets, by the Spirit. To make all [men] see, what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which, from the beginning of the world, hath been hid in God. Eph. iii. 3, 4, 5, 9. [Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: to whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery. Col. i. 26 According to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. Eph. i. 11. According to the eternal purpose which He purposed. Eph. iii. 11. The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, [so] shall it stand. Is. xiv. 24. Whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate. Whom He did predestinate, them He also called. Ro. viii. 29, 30. Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure

The Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel. Isai. xliv. 23. They shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. Is. lx. 21. That they might be called trees of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that HE might be glorified. Is. lxi. 3. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. Isai. xliii. 21. That they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew. v. 16. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit. John xv. 8. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God. Phil. 1. 11. They glorified God in me. Gal. i. 24. That ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. 1 Pet. ii. 9. See on verse 6. (m)

who first trusted in Israel [was] holiness unto the Lord, [and] the first-fruits Christ. of his increase. Jer. ii. 3. Jesus said unto her, let the children first be filled. Mark vii. 27. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of His creatures. James i. 18.

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:

And in His Name shall the Gentiles trust. Matth. xii 21. Faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Rom. x. 17. I have set Thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that Thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord; and as many as were ordained to eternal life, believed. Acts xiii. 47.48. Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus...... For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof yə heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which is come unto you, as [it is] in all the world, and

bringeth forth fruit, as [it doth] also in you, since the day ye heard [of it,] and knew the grace of God in truth. Col. i. 4-6. Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John i. 17. The apostles and brethren that were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God. Acts xi. 1. And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles. Acts xiv. 27. Peter rose up, and said unto them, men [and] brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. Acts xv. 7. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation unto every one that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Rom. i. 16.

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet [given ;] because that Jesus was not yet glorified. John vii. 38. 39. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Tim. ii. 19. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood. 1 Jo. v. 8. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. Ro. viii. 16. Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Eph. iv. 30. Now He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, [is] God, Who hath also sealed us. 2 Cor. i. 21, 22. I saw another angel ascending from the east having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice...Hurt not the earth neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed. Rev. vii. 2, 3, 4.

And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them.] Ezekiel xxxvi. 27, This spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet [given;] because that Jesus was not yet glorified.
