meekness. Coloss. iii. 12. But thou, O man of God, flee

these things; and follow after righteousness, meekness. 1 Tim. vi. 11.

With long-suffering, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering. Gal. v. 22. Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness. Coloss. i. 11. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering. Coloss. iii. 12. Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all [men.] 1 Thess. v. 14. Be patient, therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient, stablish your hearts for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. James v. 7, 8. Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. Prov. x. 12. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Gal. vi. 2. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye. Coloss. iii. 13. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing. 1 Pet. iii. 9. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 1 Pet. iv. 8.

Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity! Psalm. cxxxiii. 1. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace. Rom. xiv. 19. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind, and in the same judgment. 1 Cor. i. 10. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be cf one mind, live in peace. 2 Cor. xiii. 11. Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind. Phil. ii. 2. Be at peace among yourselves. 1 Thess. v. 13.

one e That Jesus should die for that nation; And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. Jn xi. 51,52. That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us. John xvii. 21. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: so we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Rom. xii. 4, 5. For we [being] many are one bread, [and] one body; for we are all partakers of that one bread.

1 Cor. x. 17. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free. I Cor. xii. 13. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body. Coloss. iii. 15. He is our peace, who hath made both one. Ephes. ii. 14.

f Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1 Cor. xii. 4, 11, 13. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Eph. ii. 18.

God [is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Cor. i. 9.

h And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one. Zech. xiv. 9. But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, [even] Christ; and all ye are brethren. Matt. xxiii. 8. The word which [God] sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all.) Acts x. 36. To them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called [to be] saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours. 1 Cor. i. 2. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 1 Cor. xii. 5.

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man. Ephes. iv. 13. To Titus, [mine] own son after the common faith. Titus i. 4. Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us. 2 Peter i. 1. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 3.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matt. xxviii. 19. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven. Matt. vi. 9. But to us [there is but] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him. 1 Cor. viii. 6. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galat. iii. 26.

7° But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 P Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him,

• For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man
that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly
than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as
God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Having
then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to
us. Rom. xii. 3, 6. Who then is Paul, and who [is] Apollos,
but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave
to every man? 1 Cor. iii. 5. For to one is given by the
Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of know-
ledge by the same Spirit. 1 Cor. xii. 8. As every man hath
received the gift,[even so] minister the same one to another,
as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter
iv. 10.

The Lord gave the word: great [was] the company of
those that published [it.] Thou hast ascended on high,
thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts
for men. Psalm lxviii. 11, 18. The Lord said unto my
Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine
enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod
of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of
thine enemies. Thy people [shall be] willing in the day
of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb
of the morning. Psalm cx. 1, 2, 3. So then after
the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into
heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went
forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with

Therefore, being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Acts ii. 33. For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, the Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool. Acts ii, 34, 35. Him hath God exalted with his right hand [to be] a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. Acts v. 31. [And] having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Coloss. ii. 15. Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. 1 Peter iii. 22.

For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that Psalm viii. 5; and Heb. ii. 9. And no man hath ascended he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man, which is in heaven. John iii. 13. [What] and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. John vi. 62, 33. For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world, again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. John xvi. 27, 28. He, seeing this before, spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts ii. 31, 36. s And when he had called unto [him] his twelve disciples, he gave them power [against] unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles. 1 Cor. xii. 28.
