The Senate have rejected the bill (No. 76) entitled "An act for the relief of Daniel Page."

The bill from the Senate (No. 158) entitled "An act granting a township of land to certain exiles from Poland," was read the third time, and passed as amended.

Ordered, That the Clerk request the concurrence of the Senate in the amendments to said bill.

The amendments of the Senate to the bill (No. 207) entitled "An act making appropriations for the public buildings and public grounds, and for other purposes," were read, and committed to a Committee of the Whole House to-day.

The House then resolved itself into a Committee of the Whole House on the said amendments; and, after some time spent therein, the Speaker resumed the chair, and Mr. Mason, of Virginia, reported the concurrence of the committee in the second, and their disagreement in the first and third of the said amendments. It was then

Resolved, That this House do concur in the second, and do not concur in the first and third of the amendments of the Senate to the said bill. Ordered, That the Clerk acquaint the Senate therewith.

The bill from the Senate (No. 68) entitled "An act to provide for the legal adjudication and settlement of the claims to land therein mentioned," was read the third time; when
