IN SENATE, May 26, 1897.

The governor, with the advice and consent of the senate, made the following appointments, viz. :

Harbor Commissioner.-J. Herbert Shedd, of Providence, for the term of three years.

Board of Managers of R. I. College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts.-Jesse V. B. Watson, of South Kingstown, for the term of five years from July 1, 1897.

Board of State Charities and Corrections.-John H. Northup, of Warwick, for the term of six years. from July 1, 1897.

State Board of Soldiers' Relief-Seth S. Getchell, of Woonsocket, and Philip S. Chase, of Providence, each for the term of three years.

State Board of Health.-Albert G. Sprague, M. D., of Warwick, for the term of six years from July 1,

1897.

Board of Control of the State Home and School.William T. Crandall, of Providence; Florence G. De Wolf, of Bristol, each for the term of three years from July 1, 1897.

Commissioner of Dams and Reservoirs.-Walter C. Simmons, of Providence, for the term of three years from May 1, 1897.

List of Certificates of Incorporation issued by the Secretary of State, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 176 of the General Laws, from July 1, 1896 to July 1, 1897.

I, Charles P. Bennett, Secretary of State, hereby certify that Arthur A. Fuller, Annie L. Fuller, Althea T. Ide, and Horatio A. Hunt, have filed in the office of the Secretary of State, according to law, their agreement to form a corporation under the name of Brightridge Land Company, for the purpose of engaging in the business of acquiring, holding, using, managing, improving, leasing, mortgaging and selling real estate, chattel interest in reality, and leasehold estate, and personal estate, stock and bonds of other corporations for investment purposes, and for the transaction of any business connected therewith or incidental thereto, and with the capital stock of twenty-five thousand dollars, and have also filed the certificate of the general treasurer, that they have paid into the general treasury of the state the fee required by law.
