East; his Honour gave judgment for defendant with costs. Tailby, had been sentenced to nine months' imprisonment for forgery in connection with his office as rate collector.-Saturday, 25th: Conclusion of the divorce case Woods v. They were committed for trial at the December Assizes, but were then acquitted.-Tuesday, 25th: Aquatic fête of the Dover Swimming Club,-Wednesday, 26th: Dover Races at Walder. share Park. Fletcher and Hambrook being returned by a clear majority of 13.-Tuesday, 3rd: Military farewell at the 7th Fusiliers Sergeants' Mess to Sergeant Coxwell. Tuesday, 8th: Fatal accident at Lydden Spout. Inquest on the body of Thomas Fenner, of the pilot cutter.-Saturday, 12th: Wreck of the Mary Away off Dungeness. The crew brought to Dover and the vessel beached in Dover Bay. Tuesday, 15th: Common Hall to consider the bathing question. -Publication of the Dover, Deal, and Folkestone Guide for 1875
