solemn duties of parents, to let the young when of mature age, enjoy its divine liberty.

But oh the blackest of all foreign whores, British rebellion where is your blush? British parricidal nobles you are, engaged in the black ravaging war of the devil; you are on the wrong side of the atlantic, fightiug for the devil against your God, and you always have been ever since you first broke over the commands of God's herein forbidden Columbia. At the revolution we only revolted from British strong holds, armies and rebellious authority, which British aristocrary enforced across the wide atlantic, in a foreign land to her wherein she had no right, we were by ourselves by nature always a united nation, we were only divided into Canadas and states by rebellious art, by the parricidal hands of Britain and her rebellious associates, ever since our father Columbus begun us on his blissful shores, and we are still divided by that serpent which always entices man astray, really we are the union of God, and foreign Britain the dividing serpent, she slily crawls behind the bushes of Eden, and continues to bite the tree of forbidden fruit; nor did Britain even foster her young as holy mothers should, but always robbed us, divided us, fought us, and held us dis tant, dejected and neglected vassals; slaves compelled to labor in taxation for lazy nobles, by making masters of a few of us over the rest, which few opposed the pur chase of Louisiana, and the conquest of Canada for no other purpose, they opposed general liberty, general Columbia, heading a party to rebellion that themselves can be masters, cutting North America up into parties in opposition to general union, general Columbia, inviting the foreign serpent of division, inviting French Louisiana, British and Spanish Florida, to partition the fine fabric of Columbian liberty, from her harmony and uniformity to divided bondage, that grand republic of the rights of equality to all which Washington and his Virginians fought for, Washington fought for the states, he fought for Canada, and Jefferson for Louisia na, all tending to general union, and which was ever the object of the great Washington. Read his farewell address and learn wisdom's ways to union, which so

particularly directs us continually to guard against the old world's inroads of dividing danger, brought over our heads by the foul kings of delusion and compulsion, it strikes the very root of our independence; study ye patriots and find who are your enemies and who your friends, when you find the devil trying to knock you into parties, stand united like the rock of ur Saviour, against the serpent of destruction, and put forth all your votes, your acts, your marshal power, in defence of the common cause of your glorions country, your glorious liberty, so essential beloved affections, and no longer quit your own to stand on foreign ground, give your enemies to know that while they punish for past sins, that misery excites reformation, union that victor of devils let appear on the carpet, for kings and carnage Columbia never was, Columbians true glory to out shine all eastern pretence, her actor Washington's will God perpetuates, though inactive spirit, liberty again wakes up, she out spreads her wings of union; oh dupes look around in the gulph of danger, how far you have backslided, why go back behind the bushes of Eden's paradise, though high Columbians sink endangering oppression kicks the spur of adversity and Columbia retains her fast held freedom, the invading rogue broke in behind her father's grave, repel from these forbidden regions, how do so noble act, reform the disgraceful misconstruction of our constitution, whereon rogues, enemies to liberty have verged us upon the brink of ruin, & every republic the concealed foes to freedom have overthrown, Columbia's trial is at hand, jealous be of your liberties, liberty's days are always dangerous, her enemies in peace are silent planning for danger, in danger exciting danger, in war calamitous they are on the public stage, every where in its doleful bosom.

Then Columbians prohibitory to fast growing oppression, arouse from the fields of tillage, omit your hammer artist, or you only will possess, then rally around your post of danger, fortify God's sacred rights. Our fathers in days of darkness, weak in arms they stemmed the dreadful storm, crept among the dreary scenes, act again and end the danger this day, another

is to late, this dreadful day, like that of the revolution, make of it an exalted school to slaves, work out entire our freedom rights, salvation above the storm of tyFant ruin, let enquiry be every where awake the wrong to shun, briliant our thinking common, their bonest conscience free, the new born spirit shines above at the clouds of evil, even plow-joggers so much des pised are not excepted, all are ready to grasp the ark of safety, the inactive tiller despised by eastern kings, in the modern days of Columbia are active on the stage, Columbian free born farmers fly for all our rights, rights of that valuable liberty so dearly loved, liberty that greatest of all blessings, sheltered in wisdom's union, glorious Columbia how inestimable thy source of love, so directly flowing from her great God her conquering glory, her ruling freedom true tillers love aroused from political indolence under Columbia's constitution, governs with equal impulse and we are free from Tyre's yokes.

Let stand against the torrent of this wicked world's deception, the Columbian constitution; against the torrent of the great commercial king of the seas, let us unite the Columbian constitution; against those wicked men who spend all their days in deluding others astray for their own overreaching usurpation, establish the Columbian constitution, and extend to all their equal rights to govern; against the lust and pride of furious aristocrary, and for the protection of humble democracy, let stand the constitutional rock of Columbia; let us Columbians unite against the overwhelming flames of all but honorable commerce; let us institute the Columbian constitution for the agriculturalists holy guardean parent, of equal domestic commerce to all parts of Columbia; let us institute the Columbian agricultural authority, energeticly for restraining the deluding vengeance of a maritime hell, for fending off the bleeding and flaming wars of the great overwhelming speculating tyrants of the red sea of crimes, for the preservation of the Columbian's innocent rights; let us protect the new world's rights in the name of its glorious progenitor, and secure a rightful inheritance to the legitimate heirs of its seil, and

live free and equal as brothers, as friends, as Washingtons, and as christians.

A constitution for the government of a people, is simply an article of agreement equally between all of them, in regard to their concerns individually and collectively with each other, and with other nations; whereby a people may acquire happiness by being protected in equal rights, and such privileges as shall not interfere with the general welfare of all individual rights.

A constitution formed in equity, is not only a rule of particular order, but of general union; a rule of all the people equally together for the protection of each individual, who by misfortune shall happen to come to the want of assistance from that collective body or society, of which he is a member, bound by the same constitution equally with others, for their mutual pro tection; that each individual shall do to all others of his society, that which he wishes of all his country's power to do to him, and in the time of danger, protect him and his children from the slavery and merchandize of aristocracy.

A national constitution is simply a system of union, whereby the whole energy of the people can at once be brought against every point of danger, which threatens to disturb the peace of one single individual of its national union.

A constitutional unity of government, presup poses every member of its society to watch circumspectly over all its dangers, and unite energeticly in the time of those dangers to vote, act and fight if necessary, against all and every person or persons, who shall attempt to invade or entice any person, or alienate any part of the country from the rest.

A constitution of a body of all the persons of a country, is like a constitution of one person to require all its members to act when necessary. A person if in danger of falling from a building, both feet and hands are no more necessary to act for his safety, than when a republic is in danger of falling into the arms of a foreign king, all its members or people of that body, are required unitedly to act for its salvation, in which

case neutrals are unknown, for they are the vile implements of the devil.

A constitution adopted in the time of safety, presupposes every member of its society, to act unitedly for its salvation in the time of danger.

A constitution of equal justice to all the people of North America, is nothing more nor less than an article of agreement between eight million of people, collectively to act in relation to each others happiness, against the armies and dangers of commercial Europe, and their emissaries among us, of course against those nations able to bring an army and commercial enticements across the ocean, for ravaging, dividing and laying prostrate to ruin our liberties and property. A constitution not understood is good for nothing, but far worse than nothing, if the enemies against whom it was intended for a bulwark, so construes its dead letter as will make of it an implement in their hands for beating our own brains out, it is like a flaw or misconstruction of written agreements by which many persons have lost all their property, and in the same manner republics have ever lost all their liberties, and if we do not unite in the spiritual meaning of that justice on which our constitution was formed, and depends for its existence, our liberties are lost.

Under our constitution and the eight million of the people of these states, now panic struck with fear. and delusion, for the want of a constitutional explanation, behold a dreadful enemy; as ignorant people areafraid of witches, because one half of our people are afraid of the other half, make their own danger, and destroy themselves by division and folly, because wicked men want to be lords for life; we are like eight men who have entered into an article of agreement for their safety, being situated in a place of dan-ger, as the American people are really in the danger of Britain by division though safe by union, four of which eight men being ignorant in delusion, two being the governing wise as to their safety, the other two. secretly deceiving and bewildering the four, and frus-trating the two wise from their saving government of the whole eight, that the two secret deceivers can join.
