to impress, search, plunder, burn, confiscate and tax others to her gain and their ruin, under her maritime laws and privy orders in foul council and tyrant force, and all such other laws as she her all-sufficient power may please to enact, repeal or modify contrary to the equitable principles required by the law of nations and humanity, that from her unjust dominion of the seas derived her right of search and orders in vile council and devastation of an innocent world, so wicked, unjust and repugnant to God and to the natural and dear rights of the human family. Because human power is natural destruction to the liberties of man; therefore when gathered under the defiance of one head, it ought to be dispersed, for human power was never God, and no one else is the fountain of good than God, of course any other fountain head of power in the world, is the devil elevated on the division of the human family, for one part who are not aristocrats, will seek for blessings from the godhead, while the other who are devils, wil knuckle to the serpent of the seas until themselves and all fall a prey to the flames of exterminating war.

The tyrant nobles of seafaring Britain, France and Spain, first drew the sword in this foreign land by which they fall, the royal Bourbons of France have been beheaded those of Spain threatening blood, and those of Britain how in guilt and sin they are trembling on the wave, for wickedly drawing their sword in a foreign land, because contrary to christian union, which says he that taketh the sword, shall perish with the sword; these three nations by the sword brought slavery and misery on the foreign land of Columbia, where their deadly commands have continued in blood their weapons of death, and caused millions of the innocent natives of black, white and Indians, to be slain at their own habitations, and leaving them lifeless corpse without any sepulchre, but the bowels of beasts, by Britons disregarded above ground in the sight of friends, where bones of friends are the prey of wild beasts, Briton's tories and Indians running too and fro amidst the innocent sons of Columbia, dreadful scenes of slaughtered innocence, of the poor and distant inoffensive victims, having no concern with the European royal.

rivalship and foreign sin. Awful calamity! oh where is union that only victor; our troubles will be ended when union forms, for Britain falls like royal Bourbons, who perished by that sword which held their partitions of blood and ruin, abroad with Britain in this forbidden and to them foreign land of Columbia, whose patriotic sons shield that sword by which Britain shall perish like France. The British sword which expelled the French is drawn against Columbia, to be shielded by the republican, Columbian necessity thrusted the sword of Washington our father and their sons, into the perishing bowels of that nation which first and last drew it, who God has pronounced shall perish like Babylon the great. Britain that first and last black speculator of human slavery, transferred to the Columbian seat of freedom, for which amidst its blackest scenes was raised up by the hand of God, a Washington, whose divine influence carried in the federal union, that grand patriotic wisdom which returned into action those black British made inactive slaves, the sword of just revenge into the corrupted bowels of she who caused their slavery, for God says Britain shall perish by her own sword for that abuse, God through his Washington now points out the falling fate of British wicked nobles, who yet convert his human beings into blood and slavery, throughout this promised free land of Columbia, oh see Britain's lords put forth their whole paracidal means, to us blacks, whites and Indians, a disregarded mixture of misery, but she fails, she falls, she is not God, she cannot govern.

If it can be possible that we cannot unite, in support of the voice of whatever administration, the ma-jority of our votes as a people, declared to be the present government of our country, against the present danger of Britain until union shall bring us peace; the old bible proverb, so much observed by christians, will prove false, for Britain in that case will not perish by the sword that she has drawn in a foreign land not her own; but is it not a fact that the christian proverb of the bible is true; we will unite and Britain will fall, and the millennium will come, in spite of all the aris-tocratical host to stop it, if we do but know our inte

rest, which is exactly the same, for the federal farmer* of this union is truly an independent farmer and can act as he pleases, he is awake and on the public stage, and he will be where his interest is, where his God is, , there is the farmer's union; but the federal followers say, they will not unite and support the democratic administration, as though it makes a difference to them, who conducts the war against the enemy, even if both are patriots; yet if we do not have a unanimity in Congress as well as in the people, our country is inevi tably ruined, a house divided against itself, it is admited by all cannot stand, then how is this unanimity to take place? the federals say they will not unite with the democrats for they are the devil, yet at the same time the federal farmers own that our country is ru ined, if we do not unite and support the federal leaders, since they innocently think they are on the side of God; now let us suppose the democratic leaders are the very devil, and the others godly, the country can but be ruined by uniting with the devilish democrats, and be ruined at all events if we do not unite, then supposing we unite with the democrats, and do that which no falling republic never did do, do we not save ourselves? all republics have been destroyed for the want of a union of the people with their government, in the time of war and danger, then let us for the first time of the world, by our union and obedience to our rulers, at a moment of danger save our republican independence by supporting the administration of our government, with the whole force and energy of obedience; but says one party, I will not unite with the other because they are wrong. Supposing the farmers of the federal party are turnips, and the republicans potatoes, and these turnips and potatoes all mixed together in the same vessel, then ask what is in that vessel, answer meslin, then if we the two parties thus unite and concert together, our soldiers, money, and plans, as friends against the common enemy, leaving no part of the turnips separate from the potatoes, the question asked what people are those, answer we are all Americans; in other words all federals and all republi cams; and in this union of farmers, let each farmer

vote for what ruler he pleases, to carry on the war against Britain, and let who will get chosen strictly all obey his administration, and if his independence says. take Canada, go without a murmur and take it and be free, general union never sheds blood, but to disobey is inevitable ruin; thus the question of the federal farmer is perfectly settled, in regard to union in the meslin of the turnips and potatoes, as to uniting with the devilish democrats, because it is plain that if the democrats do unite with the federals, the federals certainly unite with the democrats, union is union, mix the parts together as you please; fellow farmers is it not foolish to be dallying in rebellion, because our rulers do not think as we do? but in which case one thing will be true, namely tories will not get a single turnip or potatoe vote. Supposing all the federals were women, and all the democrats men, then set them apart and keep apart if you can, but you cannot, nor tories cannot keep federals and democrats apart, were they to know as well their true interest, as men and women know men and women to be men and women; in fact as the democrats and federals are in folly, it would immediately put an end to man, if men and women could be kept apart; but no sooner than political parties will put an end to liberty. Although women and effeminated men, are the cause of all war, they are not the best of all to fight it. Of these male democrats and female federals, who are neither aristocrats affectionate men nor women, are the very tories I mean that will no better unite than oil and water can mix; and as strange as it is wicked, there are human beings among us, who are not even friends to themselves, much more to others, and these are tools, the devil's best tools, and inconsiderate office seekers, with nothing else their object than merely office, and will have office even if their country is ruined, are tories first cousins and friends to kings and ruin, and such are not fit for office, for they are not friends to the people, therefore those who are the tried friends of the general liberty of man, of course inveterate enemies to kingly aristocracies, such as rejoice for revo lutions of the poor from the oppression of kings, and

mourn when kings the wicked rise to rule; these are the men who should direct us against the storms of Britain, no others did it at the revolution, and not those who rejoice for kings and nobles the wicked to rule.

The union of these states in '79, divided the British parliament into say equal parties, (whigs and tories,) and the British people cried peace with America, because the whigs were gaining by the success of the revolters in America, and the whig majority being the friends of the people, gave us the olive branch. And in '93, the union of the French people, for the succeεs of their revolution, divided our Congress, consequently our people, for the real friend of man although a distant spectator, cannot withhold his heart cheering. words of expressing joy, to behold in any country, the republicans unfurl the banners of freedom, not only because his own liberty depends on a liberated world, but all these republicans are the friend of man, while the aristocratical party of the Congress union, sneaks in kingly secret support of self; thus the division. And our union will at once divide the Canadian legislature, consequently their people with an increasing majority to our favor, because our union of peace and safety invites their increasing friendship as we extend our affectionate love and union; thus Canada is with us conquered by our union without an army; can man possibly conceive the wonderful power and wisdem of God, displayed in the affectionate union of a people; can all the divided world of the devil stand undis graced before the vengeance of its truth, look round this gazing world and see humans like a flock of sheep, that when one beholds safety and runs all run for safety.

The head generals of the British army even if of ever so great confidence is entrusted them by the wrong, if they know they can be made happy in peace and safety, they will turn to God, and forsake the devil of parties, of war and danger, how soon like the great Washington, would even the great Wellington, join our hea venly union with all his army, shield his sword and make his officers and fellow-soldiers with us happy
