interest is, there would be a perfect union, and no one2 to fight for they would then form God's great democra tic ranks of equals and friends, against the little insig nificant devil who thereby has no proselytes as at the revolution; Britain lost the followers of all her tories before that war was over, the devil is always conquered, by the rays of true light. A free people only go to war to maintain that freedom which the devil's oppression excites to action, Britain had only threatened taxation which give rise to the revolution; as her insignificance displayed in her spies and baneful edicts, impressment and other aggressions of fast tending ruin give rise to this war, which we as at the revolution did every thing to avoid these ten whole years; we offered to her the olive branch as did the colonies, before the murderous hand of the same ungrateful mother, poured into eternity our thousands of friends, even since the bloody revolutionary sword was necessiated to enforce us our independence.

But insignificant Britain while she held forth to the eyes of innocence her humiliating hand of pretending friendship, she thrushes her other unseen hand of foul revenge through the bowels of Columbian tranquillity, clothed with the shining gloss of disappointed ambition, fingering in the dark Henry like deceivers, to fire that ark which failed to silence all her panegyrics, though all the hearts of evil had returned into her legitimate bosom, notwithstanding she is the most dangerous enemy the world ever knew, yet disappointed aristocrats cannot in peace be alleviated.

While the wise Franklin, Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Hancock, Gerry, and Adams, never backslided or changed from their true course of right, nor did ever a wise or true republican willingly return to the devil. Whenever a wise politician has engaged in good, why will wisdom dictate a change to evil, these men ever persevered in the support of true liberty, notwithstanding all the thundering clamor of calumniators, storms of parties and European war, nor did all the wars and revolutions of commercial Europe, ever cause them to backslide, all their rising and falling of foreign nations, never altered their godly principal

nor would all the host of foreign hell prevent true republicans from perseverance along the path of political true virtue. But which is not the case with the wrangling aristocrats, for who by seeking hereditary permanency, of course always by wicked means, thereby use all the crooks and turns of the devil for unjust ascension, let man be immoveably stationed in office, and he makes a crooked master, but a liability to be frequently removed makes him an upright and honest servant, even if he holds the office all the days of his life, because if he is fairly and unanimously elected he is a noble servant. When one republican friend of liberty is required by his superceding competitor, of the same republican principle, to leave his official station agreeable to his wholesome election by a free people, it continues the republic in union, and the republican retires contented; but when an enimical aristocrat or his tool, rises on the throne by delusion, he has an unjust ascension to an office to which he in reality has no right, because he stole the hearts of his voters, by a serpentine snake in the grass, which goes on to corrupt the wholesome union, but unjust men sometimes fall as quick as they by unjust means rise to rob.

To know men's hearts is by the action of men, the acts which men vote for show who they are, and their address to the people before election, if they fulfil what they promise they serve you so far and indeed honest candidates prior to election exhibiting to the people what they endeavour to perform is the better way, for electors are then never disappointed in the hire of such servants as are faithful to their promise.

Aristocrats are always passing acts which favor the few merchants, the few lawyers, and the few preachers, entangling their country of farmers and mechanics, under corrupted presses, and foreign Europe to their ruin. While we have all our freedom from the acts of republicans, for free goods, free bottoms, free pressess free religion, and the right of suffrage extended to the poor, against banks, foreign commerce and false religion true republicans have ever plead; we all know that all acts which have tended to freedom of religion and of the poor was always passed by republicans.

Peruse Washingtons, Jeffersons and Madisons inaugural speeches and messages and find how faithfully, they all cord alike in the arduous support of our dear bought liberty, and the acts of congress when their friends were the majorities, and then on the other hand look over the doleful destruction of British favoritism, and find whenever her adherents were in power, that our liberties went shattering to ruin. The ten thou sand falsehoods which floats in kingly newspapers, are nothing but delusive nonsense except relative truth to maintain the paper credit, for the purpose of general lying, above all, examine as close as possible the princi pal and real meaning of every law of your country, and when you find your laws coming from a rotten source, turn out of office the authors of iniquity; the tree is only known by its fruit, that is by the acts which are passed. Farmers, if you can understand their deep meaning, you can keep up with aristocrats, and rise above them, and if you please be the law makers yourselves; it is by the acts, yes by the actions of men that you know their hearts, and not by their newspaper words, which shape lies apparently into truths.

There was never but two general policies that di rects human society: the one free and independent for all generally and equally; the other entangled in national dishonesty, under the foreign commercial influence and partiality of kingly aristocracies. Nor has the farmer but for the moment ever been the independ ent director of even that honest policy which ever gave him freedom. But the good and bad lawyer, preacher, physician and merchant have ever indirectly swayed the farmer under their influence of both good and bad; yet without the individual advantage of the lawyer, preacher, physician and merchant, miserable would be ignorant community. And notwithstanding all the wars and troubles which their collective aristocratical villainy of evil ones nationally produce by directing the dark policy of oppressive serpents which is the tyrant of man, though they ravage, their opponents at last always conquer. Those lawyers, preachers, physicians and merchants who collectively produce national ho nesty are the glory of man, for they speak God's voice

and perform his national will, while their opponent aristocrats, however apparently honest individually, their voice collectively is the vile will of the devil, seeking and destroying whom he may devour.

Individually the lawyer, preacher, physician and merchant, would if wise and honest, be God's most blessed servants to the farmer and mechanic, for they would be the mediators and humble agents of man; through whose mediation would be had the universal ties of man to man and war be an endless stranger, and without which republican collective voice, how can human society be kept together in peace, at the same time enjoy that active and passive love and reciprocal advantages which makes man happy,equals and bosom friends. In fact there would be no farmer nor mechanic in existence was community deprived of that democratical agency which ties her together. Through what agency is had a democratical mutability, than through actors inserted in society as the ministers of God, and messengers of man. The lawyers, preachers, physicians and merchants who are not false philosophers, hypocrites, robbers and tyrant masters, but who are true philosophers, diviners, emancipators and conquerors of oppressive evil are the true actors and servants to the equal rights of man, extending equal justice to all.

The good physician is God's humble agent and servant of his human family, because he faithfully obeys God and preserves the health and order of the human frame as by him directed, and votes in government for the good of his people.

The good preacher also is God's humble agent and servant of his people, because by God he is ordered and does faithfully preach gospel truth, (not falsehood.) He associates individuals to collective bodies, for expanding the mind and relieving the soul, for strengthening the affectionate ties between men and men, and between man and his maker, by preaching that divine truth, that brilliant divine light which ennobles the soul, humbles the mind and softens the heart, to the love of all men, that all can enjoy the heavenly glory of an all gracious God, and who always votes in government against state religion and slavery.

The good lawyer is also God's agent and humble servant of his people, he is also an acting mediator inserted in society, an organ for the accommodation of the relative concerns between man and man, to preserve as an attorney, their rights as well as peace between each other, whereby each others lawful claims be adjusted, and obedience had to the law of his holy land, that order may be observed in society, and he votes in government against being lord and king, and for the people, if he enact God's laws, he is a servant.

And the good merchant is also God's agent and humble servant of the farmer and mechanic, through whose agency all professions mutually harter and es change their commodities, not only between man and man of neighborhoods, but between nation and nation, for the mutual connection of the whole human family, for the ties of man to man universally, not only by commerce, but by equal affections and wisdom from continent to continent, and to all islands, societies, agents, occupations and professions, and always he votes in government against self, and for the mechanic and farmer.

While on the other hand this is not the case with aristocratical obstruction, for the bad or foreign merchant tries to be master, instead of being a humble servant of man, will for the sake of getting all speculate in government for a selfish and ruinous foreign commerce, he will first get peaceably all he can by aristocracy, and what he cannot get by aristocratical rebellion and delusion in peace, he will collectively get his whole nation at war, and by force make the very farmers and mechanics who first raised him to power, fight for the devil against their own Ged of liberty, for continuing the speculation of the merchant, until the merchant becomes king or noble lord over his degene rated community, which his dishonorable tyrannical commerce speculates to slaves; thus the ruin, as New-England rebellion tends rapidly not only to sever or break the ties of our federal union and constitution, but the dear affections which binds man to man in society, by dividing this union of God into two states of the devil, and endless war of extermination of
