We hope that our efforts, to advance the cause of Biblical Literature, will meet with the approbation of the intelligent ; and especially, of our brethren of the Clergy, who are aware of the importance of an enlightened study of the BIBLE. If our expec. tation should not be disappointed, we intend, by the blessing of God, to proceed in our undertaking, and to publish a volume from time to time, as our other studies and avocations may allow us to prepare appropriate materials.
