This very curious and interesting volume was executed at Samplai or Sampaloc, situate in the south-western extremity of Luçon, one of the largest of the Philippine Islands. It is printed upon a fine silk paper, manufactured on the spot. Like all the other works which have been since produced there, it is of very great rarity.
