Of Jacob Sutherland, Clerk of the Eighth Circuit, in

answer to a resolution of the Assembly, passed 28th February, 1835.

Dear Sir Will you have the goodness to present to the Assembly the enclosed report, made in pursuance of a resolution of the Assembly, of the 28th day of February last.

The undersigned, Clerk of the supreme court at Geneva, in obedience to a resolution of the Assembly of the 28th of February last, respectfully reports: That from a statement furnished him by the executors of Hon. Na:han Williams deceased, his prede. cessor in office, it appears there was charged by him for fees, from the 1st day of April to the 25th day of September, 1835, inclusive, the sum of........

That there was paid out for clerk hire during said period, the following sums, to wit:
