SECOND DAY.-The City and County gold Cup, value 60 sov. in specie, added to a Handicap Sweepstakes of 20 sov. each, h. ft. and only 5 if declared, &c. about three miles.

The horses to be named, the weights to be fixed, and the forfeits declared at the same time as for the Herefordshire stakes; the winner of the Herefordshire stakes to carry 4lb. in addition to the handicap. The winner to pay 10 sov. to the fund. Three to start, or the public money will not be added.

A Sweepstakes of 3 sov. each, 1 ft. with 35 sov. added, the forfeits to be paid to the second horse. To be handicapped by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint.

Horses to be named to the Clerk by six o'clock in the evening of the first race-day. The weights to be declared the same evening, at the bar of the Green Dragon Hotel; heats, once round and a distance. Three to start, or the public money will not be added.

The Selling Sweepstakes of 3 sov. each, with 25 sov. given by the Ladies of the City and County: the winner to be sold for 501. if demanded in the usual way; Gentlemen riders; three yrs old to carry 9st. four, 10st. 3lb. five, 10st. 121b. six and aged, 11st. 6b. a winner of 501. to carry 5lb. twice or more, 7lb. extra; thorough-bred horses to carry 10lb. in addition; heats, once round and a distance.

To name to the Clerk of the Course, at the Green Dragon Hotel, by eight o'clock in the evening of the first race-day. Three to start, or the public money will not be added.

The Hurdle Race (handicap) of 5 sov. each, with 25 sov. added from the fund; heats, about one mile and a half, with four leaps in each heat. The winner to pay for the hurdles.

WEDNESDAY, June the 12th (first race).-The gold Cup, in specie, by subscription of 5 sov. each, with 40 sov. added by the Proprietors of the Course, for all ages; three yrs old, 7st. 71b. four, 8st. 10lb. five, 9st. 3lb. six and aged, 9st. 7b. m. and g. allowed 3lb. the winner to be sold for 2001. if demanded in the usual way; heats, once round the Course and a distance.

(Second race).-The Surrey and Middlesex Stakes (handicap) of 20 sov. each, 10 ft. and 5 if declared on or before the first Tuesday after Epsom, with 501. added by the Proprietors of the Course.

To name and close to Messrs Weatherby, or James Parsons, White Hart, Hampton Wick, on or before the 1st of May. Five to accept, or no race, and three to start, or the 501. will not be added; the second to receive back his stake, and the winner to pay 201. towards the expenses of the Course; the winner of any handicap after the weights appear to carry 7b. extra. The winner to subscribe to next year's handicap; two miles.

The Albert Stakes of 5 sov. each, with 25 added; weights the same as for the Strawberry Hill stakes: the winner to be sold for 120 sov. if demanded; heats, one mile and a quarter; the winner of the Strawberry Hill stakes to carry 5lb. extra.

THIRD DAY.-The Claremont Stakes of 10 sov. each, h. ft. with 30 added by the Proprietors of the Course, for two yrs old colts, 8st. 7lb. and fillies, 8st. 4lb. the winner of any stake before or after naming to carry 3lb. of two, or of the New stakes at Ascot, 7b. extra; no horse to carry more than 7lb. extra; T.Y.C. Five subscribers, or no race, and three to start, or the 30 sov. not to be added. To close on the Tuesday after Epsom, and name to Messrs Weatherby, in London, or Mr Parsons, Hampton Wick, on or before that day.

The Stand Plate of 40 sov. (handicap) for the beaten horses at this meeting, added to a Sweepstakes of 3 sov. each, 1 ft. a mile and a half. The weights to be declared by eight o'clock the night before running, at Mr Parsons's, Hampton Wick.

Three to accept, or no race; and three to start, or the 60 sov. will not be given; a winner of 1001. clear, after the weights are declared, to carry 5lb. extra. A subscriber, not the owner of the horse named, is liable to the payment of 5 sov. only.

To close and name on the 1st of July; weights to be fixed by the 8th, and forfeits to be declared by the 18th of July. To be handicapped by Messrs Weatherby.

To close and name on or before the 19th day of March. A fair pedigree and hunting certificate to be produced to Mr Isaac Day before starting, if required; also the stakes paid, or not entitled although a winner. Five to start, or the purse not to be added.

The Sherborne Stakes of 10 sov. each, 5 ft. for horses of all denominations; four yrs old, 10st. 9lb. five, 11st. 4lb. six, 11st. 10lb, and aged, 12st. m. and g. allowed 3lb. winners before the 1st of January 1844 to carry 5lb. extra; one mile.
