The Twenty-Sixth Annual Session of the Legislature of the State of Wisconsin, began at Madison, the Capitol of said State, the second Wednesdry, being the 8th day of January, 1873. Pursuant to law, at 12 M. of said day, the Senate was called to order by the Lieutenant Governor, and the roll of Senators holding over from 1872 was called by J. H. Waggoner, Chief Clerk of the last session, and the following Senators, from their respective districts, appeared and took their seats: 2d district, M. P. Lindsley. 22d district, George Kreiss. 32d district, Orlando Brown.
