The Art of Kamau Brathwaite

Kamau Brathwaite won the Neustadt International Prize for Literature in 1994. The Art of Kamau Brathwaite is a ground-breaking book in which leading commentators on Black and Caribbean writing explore and discuss all aspects of Brathwaite's work as poet, historian, and cultural archivist. Brathwaite provides a 'proem' on cultural dislocation, and is the subject of an interview.
