Needs must thefe virtues nearly con cern us, fince our Lord fo often repeats them: ftill we must love, still we must obey, and the Father will come to us, and the Son will dwell with us, and the Holy Ghost will comfort us. We shall enjoy that peace which the World cannot give: we shall enjoy that peace which the World cannot take away. Rejoyce, Soul, in the Glory of thy Lord, who reigns for ever at the right hand of His Father fing eternal praises to the King of Heaven, who is gone to prepare a place for His fervants. We

I am the true Vine, and My Father the Husband man. Every branch in Me that bears not fruit He will take way: and every branch that bears fruit le will purge, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now you are clean, through he Word I have spoken to you. Abide n Me, and I in you. As the branch annot bear fruit of it felf, except it

abide in the Vine: no more can you, except you abide in Me. I am the Vine, & you are the branches:he that abides in Me and I in him, brings forth much fruit. For, without Me, you can do nothing, If any abide not in Me, he fhall be at forth as a branch, and wither; and they fhall gather him up, and caft him into the fire, and he burns. If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you fhall ask whatever you will, and it thall be done to you: Herein is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and become My Difciples. As the Father has loved Me, I alfo have loved you: continue in My love. If you keep My Com mandments, you thall abide in My love as I alfo kept My Fathers Commandments, and abide in His love. These things have I fpoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. 15. Refp.
