viour, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the fame Spirit, one God,

perish, but have everlasting

life. For God fent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be

faved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name

of the only begotten Son of
God. And this is the con-
demnation, that light is come
into the world, and men loved
darkness rather than light,
because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil
hateth the light, neither com-
eth to the light, left his deeds
fhould be reproved. But he
that doeth truth cometh to
the light, that his deeds may
be made manifeft, that they
are wrought in God.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we of judgment; becaufe as he may have boldness in the day is, fo are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but

because fear hath torment : He that feareth, is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and fent his Son to be the propitiation for our fins. Beloved, if God fo loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath was clofeen God at any time. If we thed in purple and fine linen, love one another, God dwelleth and fared fumptuously every in us, and his love is perfected day. And there was a certain
