GENERAL LAWS.

AN ACT

Making partial appropriations for the year 1868.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the AppropriaState of Ohio, That there be, and is hereby appropriated, tion. from any money in the treasury belonging to the general revenue, for the purposes hereinafter named, the following

sums:

For the payment of expenses of the presidential election tion, two thousand and five hundred dollars. For payment of the expenses of the trustees of the benevolent institutions, one thousand and five hundred dollars. To pay the expenses of taking care of the state house and grounds, one thousand dollars.

To pay for gas for lighting the state house, two thousand dollars.

To pay members of the general assembly, their clerks, assistant clerks, sergeants-at-arms, assistant sergeants-at-arms and messengers, under resolutions of the senate and house, and the laws, fifty thousand dollars.

For binding for state, five thousand dollars. For printing and binding department of deaf and dumb asylum, three thousand dollars.

For mileage of county treasurers, three hundred dollars. For the asylum for the education of idiotic and imbecile youth, five thousand dollars.

For expenses of the fiscal agency of New York, to date of transfer of same to be paid from the sinking fund, two hundred seventy-six dollars and eighty-nine cents, being balance of salary due A. P. Russell, late state agent. For the payment of per diem and expenses of legislative committees, four thousand dollars.

For revising lists of Ohio soldiers who were killed in battle, in pursuance of joint resolution adopted May 12, 1868, (65 O. L., p. 303,) five hundred dollars.

SEC. 2. This shall take effect from and after its pas

sage.
