THE publication of the PROTESTANT has excited so much interest, and has been so favourably received by the public, that I have been induced to reprint my Letters which were published in the Glasgow Chronicle; and, that I may do my opponents all justice, I shall also reprint theirs, in the order in which they originally appeared before. the world. I shall begin, by giving the subjects which were performed at the oratorio, with a translation of them into English; and also the paragraph which occasioned this controversy.
