CHAPTER I.

AN ACT concerning the election and qualification of coun

ty and district officers elected at the last general election.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia :

1. That any county or district officer elected at the last County or disgeneral election in this state, who is required by law to elected at the give an official bond and qualify within a specified time, last general elec who has failed to do so by reason of there having been no ther time to session of the county court in his county within the time qualify. he was so required to give bond and qualify, may, within sixty days from and after the passage of this act, if there be a session of the county court of his county within that period, and if not, at the first session of said court held thereafter, give such bond and qualify in the manner required by law.

2. If any such officer as is mentioned in the first section, Bonds and qualhas given the bond required by law and qualified after the ification of eerexpiration of the time required by law, the giving of the galized. said bond and qualification of said officer is hereby legalized and made valid, and said bond and qualification shall have the same force and effect in all respects as if the same had been given and done within the time required by law.
