(8), all of said lands being situated in said township fifteen (15) north, range fifteen (15) west, in the county of Oceana and State of Michigan, be and the same is hereby incorporated as a village, and that the name of such village shall be Walkerville.

Be it further resolved that said board so in regular session does also hereby order that the first election of said village shall be held on the 1st day of December, A. D. 1908, in the building commonly known as the Town Hall and situated within said territory.

Be it further resolved by this said board so convened as aforesaid, that this said board does hereby appoint Henry Shull, Raymond Ross, Emerson Bunting, C. C. Twining, who are four discreet persons of such territory and qualified electors therein to, and such persons shall constitute a board of registration for said first election so to be held in such village, and which said persons so named shall also act as inspectors of election at said first election.
