She is entitled to dower, one third of the land owned by her husband during his life-time, unless she has relinquished same. Probate of Wills.-Wills must be subscribed by the testator at the end, in the presence of each of the attesting witnesses, or acknowledged by him in their presence. There must be at least two witnesses, who sign their names at the end. The witnesses to any will should write opposite to their names their respective places of residence. Omission to do this involves a fine of $50. If residing in a city, the street and number of the house should also be given. Insolvencies and Assignments.-Insolvent law, by which the debtor surrendering his property is discharged by consent of the persons representing two thirds of the debts. No discharge if fraud or preference is proved. No involuntary proceedings unless the debtor is imprisoned.
