Collingwood fell immediately after starting; the jockey was not

hurt.

Second heat-Terrier made the running to half way in the cords, when Wilderness took it, and won by a neck.

6 to 4 on Mistress Jean. After the first 300 yards Mistress Jean took the lead, was not headed, and won easily by a length.
