His intention has been to publish every official paper and document that can be found on record or on file, that serves to throw light on our Provincial History. The Province Laws, in this volume, from 1692 to 1702, (only two or three of which have ever before been printed) indicate the state of the Province and the manners and customs of the times to which they relate.
