For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christs.
And have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus; That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
3. in that a holy life is essential to the character of a Christian, and is made the condition of salvation in the Gospel covenant.
Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ye, and believe the Gospel" ; - Repent ye, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Verily, I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. ;
Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;

* Acts ïïi, 19. y Matt. xviii. 3.
but he that doth the will of My Father Which is in heaven. · If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed
If any man serve Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also My servant be: if any man serve Me, him will My Father honour.
I am the true vine, and My Father is the husbandman. Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit, He taketh away; and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bear more fruitd.
Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit: so shall ye be My disciples e .
And hereby.we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected; hereby know we that we are in Him. He that saith, he abideth in Him, ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked . ? Matt. vii. 21. - Matt. xix. 17. John viii. 31. ... John xii. 26. d John xv. 1, 2. Ibid. ver. 8. ' * And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. If ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one that doth righteousness is born of Him.
1 John ii. 3, 6.
Whosoever abideth in Him, sinneth not: whosoever sinneth, hath not seen Him, neither known Him. Little children, let no mán deceive you, he that doth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning : for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil".
In this the children of God are manifest, anda the children of the devil: whosoever doth not righteousness, is not of God; neither he that loveth not his brother
Whosoever is born of God, sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God, keepeth himself; and that wicked one toucheth him notk.

1 John v. 18.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God: and it doth not yet appear what we shall be; b we know, that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in him, purifieth himself, even as He is pure'.
Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God m.
But except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God"..
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh, is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit, is spirito.
For they that are after the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God : for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then, they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you: now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if
Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life, because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die ; but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ P.
Be not deceived ; God is not mocked : for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting
