I.-Whitsunday.—Of the Spirit of Grace.
ROMANS VIII. 9, 10.-But ye are not in the flesh, but in

the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.
Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none
of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead, because
of sin; but the Spirit is life, because of righteousness.
II. The descending and entailed Curse cut off.
EXODUS XX. 5, 6.-I the Lord thy God am a jealous
God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children
unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate
me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love
me, and keep my commandments.
III.-The Invalidity of a late or death-bed Repentance.
JEREMIAH XIII. 16.-Give glory to the Lord your God,
before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble on
the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light (or, lest
while ye look for light), he shall turn it into the shadow
of death, and make it gross darkness.
