Dahlia, then take the 4 remaining shades and sew round successively. The White Dahlias will have pale Lemon in the centre only. When all the Dahlias are made, arrange them so that the colors harmonize and contrast well, about 9 Dahlias will be sufficient for a Basket, but as so much depends on the work and size also of the Cord, it is almost impossible to direct any given number, and although the basket takes a long time to describe, still it is very quickly made.

Work 5 more rows exactly the same as the last. Only in the 2 last rows twist the Cotton twice over the Hook.

This should not be worked too tight as it should be borne in mind that both Cotton and Wool shrink, and should be worked accordingly; there will not be any difficulty in washing these
