At Moulton Paddocks, one mile and a quarter from Newmarket, THEON (own brother to Euclid, Extempore, Mathematician, &c.) by Emilius, out of Maria (sister to the dam of Mundig, Cotherstone, &c.) by Whisker, at 10gs each mare groom's fee included.

Theon is nearly 16 hands high, good-tempered, and is of a handsome dark brown colour; his stock are large-boned, of good size, and very promising-two of the only three which have been out proving winners.

AMORINO, own brother to Amato, winner of the Derby at Epsom in

1838, bred by Sir G. Heathcote, Bart.-by Velocipede, out of Jane Shore, by Woful-Bella Donna, by Seymour-Gramarie, by Sorcerer; thorough-bred mares at 5gs, and half-bred mares at 21. 5s. groom's fees included.

Amorino won the Derby at Ascot in 1843, he was prevented starting at Epsom, having run a nail into his foot a day or two before the race. He is a very lengthy, strongly made, muscular animal, with good bone, fine action, quiet temper, and excellent constitution; height, 15 hands 3 inches; colour, a handsome dark bay, with good · and very sound black legs.

TOUCHSTONE, at 30 sov. a mare, groom's fee of one sov. included.

At Shadwell, near Leeds,

VELOCIPEDE, at 15gs a mare, groom's fee included.

Good accommodation for mares and foals on the usual terms. Velocipede is sire of Queen of Trumps, winner of the Epsom Oaks and the Doncaster St Leger in 1835; of Amato, winner of the Epsom Derby in 1838; of Vanish, winner of the Doncaster Two yrs old stakes in 1845; of Hornsea, second in the St Leger in 1835; and of Carolina, second in the Oaks in 1839. At Dringhouses, near York,

VITELLIUS will serve thorough-bred mares the ensuing season at 10 sov. groom's fee included; and after the 31st of March next, a few half-bred mares at 4 sov. a mare, and half a sov. to the groom VOL. LXXV.

Vitellius is by Ebberston, out of the dam of Sir Tatton Sykes, the winner of the Great St Leger stakes at Doncaster in 1846.

He is a beautiful black horse, stands 15 hands 3 inches high; is six years old, sound and free from any natural blemish, and possesses perfect symmetry, a fine temper, and splendid action.

Vitellius's performance on the turf, as a three years old, were of a very superior character; and, at four years old, he won the Great Northamptonshire stakes in 1844, beating Hooton, Knight of the Whistle, Naworth, and other celebrated horses, sixteen starting; and, the following day, he won her Majesty's Guineas, beating St Lawrence easily.

His public running has been invariably good, for further particulars of which see Racing Calendar.
