The Hunters' Stakes of 5 sov. each, with 50 added, for horses not thorough-bred; 12st. each; a winner of any race (matches excepted) 7lb. twice, 101b. thrice or more, 141b. extra; two miles; to be ridden by Gentlemen, Members of a Racing Club, or Officers in the Army and Navy. The winner to pay 10 sov. towards expenses, and the last horse to pay the second horse's stake.

The Selling Plate of 5 sov. each, with 20 added; three yrs old, 8st. four, 9st. five, 9st. 71b. six and aged, 10st. the winner to be sold for 100 sov. if for 80 sov. allowed 71b. 60 sov. 10lb. 50 sov. 14lb. and for 40 sov. 21lb. one mile; the winner to be sold by lot, should there be more than one claimer.

The Welter Stakes of 10 sov. each, h. ft. with 20 added; 13st. each; Gentlemen riders (same as Hunters' stakes); one mile.

A free Handicap of 5 sov. each, with 20 added; one mile and a half.

The Aberbeen, Banff, and Kincardineshire Coaching Stakes, being a sweepstakes of 5 sov. each, for horses bona fide the property of Coach Proprietors resident in either of the above Counties, and to have been regularly worked in a stage or mail coach for at least six months during 1847; to be ridden by their Owners, Coachmen, or Guards; heats, one mile: the winner to be sold for 20 sov.

All stakes except those otherwise fixed to close and name to the Secretary, Royal Hotel, Aberdeen, on or before Monday the 6th of September.

All stakes and forfeits to be paid to the Secretary on the morning of the 9th, before twelve o'clock, or not entitled though a winner. The colours of the riders to be declared at the time of entry, and if changed to pay one sov.

Any stake walked over for, the added money will not be given. Each horse at the time of entry to be charged 2 sov. and 10s. for weights and scales.

All disputes, if any, to be settled by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision to be final.

The horses must be saddled within the enclosure, in front of the Stand, or forfeit one sov.

To start each day at one o'clock, and half an hour allowed between each race and heat.

A bell will ring for saddling, and again for coming to the post, and those ready five minutes after the second bell shall be started without waiting for the others.

On ringing for saddling the Course will be cleared, and any person attempting to cross after the second bell will be taken into custody. All dogs found on the course will be destroyed.
