The established rules and regulations at Newmarket, Goodwood, and Doncaster, respecting racing, jockies, defaulters, &c. to be adhered to at Shrewsbury, in addition to those advertised in the official lists of the day.

All disputes (if any) to be determined by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision to be final and conclusive. Where money is added, it will be withheld if walked over for. No less than three reputed running horses to start for each stake VOL. LXXV.

All parties receiving nominations in the Cleveland or Shropshire stakes will take the responsibility of the subscription, in case they accept on the declaration of the weights.

Entrance for the plates, &c. (sealed) to be made at the Unicorn Inn, between the hours of two and four o'clock on the afternoon of the 4th of May, being the day before the races.

No smith will be allowed to plate or shoe a horse, except such as have, on the Monday week previous to the races, subscribed one guinea to the Race-fund.

Persons in want of stables must apply to Mr John Frail, the Clerk of the Course, and trainers, &c. are desired to notice, that no horse will be allowed to start that does not stand at the stable of a publican, being a subscriber of 2 sov. to the Race-fund, or of a private individual of one sov. at least; or in such case not to be entitled to receive stakes though winning, and all such subscriptions to be paid on the Monday week before the races.

Parties and publicans having stables or loose boxes to let for the races must signify the same to the Clerk of the Course, by whom a register will be kept for the purpose.
