The week after Bibury.

IRST DAY.-A Stakes of 10gs each, to which will be added 201. by the Town of Ludlow, for any horse, mare, or gelding; three yr olds to carry 6st. 6tb. four, 8st. five, 8st. 91b. six and aged, 9st. mares and geldings allowed, 3lb. the winner of a plate or stake this year, to carry 31b. of two, 5lb. of three or more, 71b. extra. four miles. To close the 1st of May.

Same day, a Hunters Stakes of 10gs each, for horses, mares, or geldings, foaled in the county of Salop, Worcester, Montgomery, Hereford, or Radnor, and to have never started for plate, match, or sweepstakes, before the day of naming (except for the Hunters or Yeomanry Stakes in any of those counties): the horses to be bona fide the property of a subscriber at least six months before the day of naming, or the property of a subscriber's tenant for that period, to have been hunted twelve times at least the preceding season in those counties, and to have been at the taking of deer, or at the death of hares or foxes; to carry 12st. 3lb. mares and geldings, 12st. each: certificates of age and qualifications from the breeder and master of the hounds they have hunted with, to be produced on the day of entrance for Ludlow Races, or not entitled though a winner: the winner to be sold for 150gs, if demanded within an hour, the owner of the second horse to be first entitled ; four miles. Five súbscribers, or no race.

The stakes to

close on the 1st of May. Five subscribers, or no race. The horses to be named and shewn on the day of entrance for Ludlow Races. Any horse, mare, or gelding, that ever won this stake, to carry 10lb. extra.

The winner of the cup to carry 5lb. extra. once round, about a mile and a half; two yr olds, a feather; three, 7st. 4lb. four, 8st. 5lb. five, 8st. 11b. six and aged, 9st.

Horses having won once before the day of naming, to carry 5lb. and if twice or a King's Plate, 8fb. extra. and horses that never started, paid or recd. ft. before the day of naming, to be allowed 3tb. and mares and geldings allowed 3lb.

Hunters' Stakes of 10gs each, for horses, &c. not thorough-bred, carrying 12st. each, but a five yr old horse to be allowed 71b. heats, two miles and a half; to be rode by Gentlemen. They are to have been regularly hunted with some pack of fox-hounds the whole of the preceding season, and in at the death of four foxes after the Ist of November, 1816. Certificates of their having been so hunted to be produced before starting, from the huntsman or master of the hounds, and their pedigrees to be certified by the breeder; they are to be bona fide the property of the subscriber at the time of naming, and never to have started, paid or recd. ft. or been in training before the 1st of March, 1817.
