We befeech thee to hear us, good,

That it may please thee to bring into the way of truth all fuch as have erred and are deceived.

We beseech thee to hear us, good

That it may please thee to ftrengthen fuch as do stand, and to comfort and help the weakhearted, and to raise up them that fall, and finally to beat down Satan under our feet.

We beseech thee to hear us, good Lord.

That it may please thee to fuccour, help and comfort, all

that are in danger, neceffity and tribulation.

We beseech thee to hear us, good

Lord.

That it may please thee to preferve all that travel by land or by water; all women labouring of child; all fick persons, and young children, and to fhew pity upon all prifoners and captives.

We beseech thee to hear us, good Lord.

That it may please thee to defend and provide for the fatherlefs children and widows, all that are desolate and oppreffed; and especially all those that fuffer for. righteousness fake.

We beseech thee to hear us, good Lord.

That it may please thee to have

mercy upon all men.

That it may please thee to forgive our enemies, perfecutors, and flanderers, and to turn their hearts. We beseech thee to hear us, good Lord.

That it may please thee to give and preferve to our ufe the kindly fruits of the earth, fo as in due time we may enjoy them. We beseech thee to hear us, good

That it may please thee to accept our fincere repentance, to forgive us all our fins, negligences, and ignorances; and to endue us with the grace of thy holy Spirit to amend our lives according to thy holy word.

Pfalm CXIX.

LESSED are they that are undefiled in the way, and walk in the law of the Lord. Bleffed are they that keep his teftimonies; and feek him with their whole heart.

For they do no wickedness: they walk in his ways.

Thou haft charged that we fhall diligently keep thy commandments.

O that my ways were made fo direct, that I might keep thy fta

So fhall I not be confounded, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

I will thank thee with an unfeigned heart, when I fhall have learned the judgments of thy righteousness.

I will keep thy ftatutes: 0 forfake me not utterly.

Or this.

LORD, thy word endureth for ever in heaven.

Thy truth alfo remaineth from one generation to another: thou haft laid the foundation of the earth, and it abideth.

They continue this day according to thine ordinance; for all things ferve thee.

If my delight had not been in thy law, I fhould have perished in my trouble.
