all kinds of plumbing and heating apparatus, hardware, glass ware, tinware and wooden ware, and any and all kinds of furniture and furnishings for household and similar uses; to buy, sell, manufacture and deal in material, machinery and other implements used in the above described business; to own, operate, sell, lease, buy and otherwise acquire inventions, patents, trade marks and other rights incident to and useful in said business; and to do all and everything necessary, suitable, or convenient for the carrying on of said business as above defined, or for the accomplishing of the purposes or objects herein set forth.

Form 92. Printing and Publishing.28

To carry on the business of printers, stationers, engravers, book printers, designers, dealers in paper and all fancy articles, book sellers, publishers, advertising agents, buyers and sellers of newspapers and publications of all kinds and dealers in any other articles or things of a character similar or analogous to the foregoing or any of them or connected therewith; To carry on a general advertising business in all its branches both as principals and agents; To carry on if and when it shall seem desirable the trade or business of general printers, lithographers, engravers and advertising agents; To build, construct, erect, purchase, hire or otherwise acquire or provide any buildings, offices, workshops, plant and machinery or other things necessary or useful for the purpose of carrying out the objects of the company; To manufacture, purchase, or otherwise acquire, hold, own, mortgage, sell, assign, invest, trade, deal in and. deal with goods, wares and merchandise, and property of every class and description; To acquire the good will, rights, property and assets of all kinds, and to undertake the whole or any part of the liabilities of any person, firm, association or corporation and to pay for the same in cash, stock, bonds, debentures or other securities of this corporation or otherwise. To purchase, hold and reissue the shares of its own capital stock. To do any or all of the things herein set forth to the same extent as natural persons might or could do and in any part of the world.

Form 93. Promotion.

To carry on and undertake any business, undertaking, transaction or operation commonly carried on or undertaken by capitalists, promoters, financiers, contractors, merchants, commission men and agents, and in the course of such business to draw, accept, endorse, acquire and sell all or any negotiable or transferable instruments and securities, including debenture bonds, notes and bills of exchange.

To issue on commission, subscribe for, acquire, hold, sell, exchange and deal in shares, stocks, bonds, obligations or securities of any public or private corporation, government or municipality, and the company shall have express power to hold, purchase or otherwise acquire, to sell, assign, transfer, mortgage, pledge or otherwise dispose of shares of the capital stock, bonds, debentures or other evidences of indebtedness created by any other corporation or corporations, and while the owner thereof to exercise all the rights and privileges of ownership, including the right to vote thereon.

To form, promote and assist financially or otherwise, companies, syndicates, partnerships and associations of all kinds, and to give any guarantee in connection therewith or otherwise for the payment of money, or for the performance of any obligation or undertaking.

To acquire, improve, manage, work, develop, exercise all rights in respect of, lease, mortgage, sell, dispose of, turn to account and otherwise deal with property of all kinds, and in particular business concerns and undertakings.

Form 94. Provisions.

Carrying on a wholesale and retail provision, produce and grocery business and doing all things necessary or incidental. thereto or connected therewith.

Form 95. Provisions and Slaughtering.

Manufacturing, buying and selling provisions and other articles and merchandise commonly manufactured, bought or sold by packing or provision houses, and slaughtering cattle, swine, sheep and other animals used for food.

Form 96. Same - Longer Form.

To carry on a meat and provision and general mercantile business, and particularly to purchase, sell, and generally deal in game, fish, poultry, meats, live stock, and animal products, and manufactured or prepared articles, goods, and merchandise produced or resulting from or embodying, in whole or in part, slaughtered live stock, agricultural products, or any of the above-named products whatsoever, and to carry on the above business and do the above things, both at wholesale and retail, as owners, commission merchants, factors, agents, brokers, dealers, and in every other capacity whatsoever; to lease, purchase, acquire, hold, erect, equip, operate, and maintain packing houses, cold storage and other warehouses, slaughter houses, stockyards, and such other real and personal property as the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts allow and the company may think necessary or convenient for the purposes of its business; to purchase, acquire, sell, or otherwise dispose of good will, rights, property, and assets of all kinds; generally to carry on any other business which may seem to the company capable of being conveniently carried on in connection with any of the above purposes or calculated directly or indirectly to enhance the value of or render profitable any of the company's property or rights so far as the same shall be permitted by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; and, pursuant thereto, to subscribe for, purchase, invest in, hold, own, assign, pledge, or otherwise dispose of shares of capital stock, bonds, mortgages, debentures, notes, and other securities, obligations, contracts, and evidences of indebtedness of any corporations carrying on any business which the company itself can lawfully engage in.

Form 97. Publishing.

Carrying on the business of printing and publishing newspapers, periodicals, books, pamphlets, book binding and doing a general job printing and publishing business; also dealing in printers' supplies and paper, card board and stationery of all

To publish, print, bind, manufacture, issue, purchase, sell, deal in and otherwise turn to account books, magazines, publications, newspapers, pamphlets, maps, charts, engravings, lithographs, etchings, wood-cuts, electrotypes, stereotypes, photographic prints, photo-lithographs, pictures and illustrations whether colored or without color, and by whatsoever process or processes the same may be produced, whether now existing or hereafter to be discovered or invented; and, generally, to carry on the business of printers, binders, lithographers, stereotypers, engravers and publishers, in any and all of the states, territories, colonies, dependencies and districts of the United States of America and in any and all foreign countries.

Form 99. Quarrying.

Quarrying, manufacturing, buying, selling and dealing in slate, and buying, leasing, operating and selling slate quarries. Form 100. Same.

Quarrying, working, handling, and selling granite and other stone, and contracting for the construction of buildngs and structures composed in whole or in part of granite or other

stone.

Form 101. Same.

To carry on the business of quarrying, cutting, polishing, and finishing granite or other stone, buying and selling granite, marble and stone of all kinds, including the acquisition by purchase, manufacture or otherwise of all machinery, tools, implements, ways, materials, supplies and other articles necessary or convenient for use in connection with said business or any part thereof.

Form 102. Real Estate.29

To acquire by purchase, lease, exchange, hire or otherwise, lands or any interest therein; to erect and construct houses,

buildings or works of every description on any land of the company, or upon any other lands, and to rebuild, enlarge, alter and improve existing houses, buildings or works thereon to convert and appropriate any such land into and for roads, streets and other conveniences, and generally to deal with and improve the property of the company; to sell, lease, let, mortgage or otherwise dispose of the lands, houses, buildings and other property of the company; to undertake or direct the management and sale of the property, buildings and lands; to transact on commission the general business of a real estate agent.

Form 103. Same.

To take, acquire, buy, hold, own, maintain, work, develop, sell, convey, lease, mortgage, exchange, improve and otherwise deal in and dispose of real estate and real property or any interest and rights therein, without limit as to amount; to take, acquire, buy, hold, own, sell, hire, lease, mortgage, pledge and otherwise deal in and dispose of all kinds of property, chattels and chattels real, without limit as to amount; to lend money on bonds secured by mortgages on real estate or upon personal property, or to lend money and make advances from time to time on bonds secured by mortgages for future advances on real estate or upon personal property; to acquire by purchase, lease, exchange, hire or otherwise, lands or any interest therein; to erect, construct, alter, maintain and improve houses, buildings or works of other description or any lands of the corporation, or upon any other lands, and to rebuild, alter and improve existing houses, buildings or work thereon; to convert and appropriate any such lands into and build and form roads, streets or other conveniences, and generally to deal with and improve the property of the corporation; to sell, lease, let, mortgage or otherwise dispose of the lands, houses, buildings and other property of the corporation; to undertake and direct the management of all property, buildings and lands of the corporation, or otherwise; to transact on commission, the general business of a real estate agent.
