WASHINGTON, December 15, 1917.

The following regulations governing the Army Veterinary Service are published for the information and guidance of the Army.

These regulations are only a part of the general body, of regulations with which the veterinary officer must acquaint himself. For regulations, general in nature, or which affect other branches of the service, he should consult the Army Regulations, properly so called. In addition, special reference is necessary, for precise information on the subjects with which they deal, to the manuals for the other staff departments, to the Drill Regulations and Service Manual for Sanitary Troops, to the Field Service Regulations, to the Tables of Organization, to the Manual for CourtsMartial, to the Army Transport Service Regulations, to the Manual of Pack Transportation, to the Regulations of the War Department Governing the National Guard, to the Regulations for the United States Military Academy, to the Small Arms Firing Regulations, to the Manual of Interior Guard Duty, to the Regulations for the Uniform of the United States Army, to the Rules of Land Warfare, etc.
