to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common, Acts x. 13-15. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days, Col. ii. 16.

bOf the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment, Heb. vi. 2. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water, x. 22. And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water, Exod. xxix. 4. and xl. 12. For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat. When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD. So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations, xxx. 1921. And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave of all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean; and after that he shall come into the

camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days. But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head, and his beard, and his eye-brows, even all his hair he shall shave off; and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean, Lev. xiv. 8, 9. He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired : these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his fesh in water, and so put them on, xvi. 4. and 24. country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even; then shall he be clean. But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity, xvii. 15, 16. See Numb. xix. And all the elders of that city, that are next unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley, Deut. xxi. 6. And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled (that is to say, with unwashen) hands, they found fault. For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders. And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables, Mark vii. 2-4.

For it is not possible that the |
blood of bulls and of goats should take
away sins, Heb. x. 4. And he shall take
of the congregation of the children of
Israel two kids of the goats for a sin-
offering, and one ram for a burnt-of-

bullock of the sin-offering which is for
himself, and make an atonement for
himself, and for his house. And he
shall take the two goats, and present
them before the LORD at the door of

And Aaron shall cast lots upon the
two goats: one lot for the LORD, and
the other lot for the scape-goat. And
Aaron shall bring the goat upon which
