RESOLVED, That Messrs. J. B. Barnaby, C. F. Phillips, F. Johnson, and G. H. Pettis, of the common council, with alderman Daboll, be and they are hereby appointed a committee to wait on his honor the mayor, and request him to furnish for publication, a copy of the address this day delivered by him to the city council, and to cause the same to be published in such manner as they shall deem expedient. RESOLVED, That the above named committee be and they are hereby directed to cause the standing rules of the city council; the standing rules of order of the common council; a list of the standing committees of the city council; a list of the city officers: and such portions of the record of the organization of the city government as they may deem expedient, to be printed in pamphlet form for the use of the city council, under the general title of the "CITY MANUAL."
