THIS Institution is pleasantly situated on high ground, overlooking the city of Hartford, Connecticut. The cut presents a view of the largest of the buildings, 650 feet in length, and including Dormitories, Chapel, Library and a few of the Lecture Rooms.

The Library contains over 60,000 volumes, 30 per cent, of which have been purchased within the last ten years. It is open daily for consultation and study.

The Laboratories, Physical, Chemical and Biological, are fully equipped with modern apparatus for work in these departments. Especial attention is given, to work in preparation for Electrical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry and Medicine.

Extensive courses are offered for study in Mathematics, Ancient Languages, Modern Languages, Economics, History, Ethics and Philosophy. A large list of valuable scholarships and prizes is given in the annual catalogue.
